Many, many, many years ago a man named Oranon Roxanor lived. He was a great man and was known by many in the magical comunity but there was one problem; he was a squib. Meaning he was unable to cast spells but his parents were magical. Eventhough this he excelled in all his classes while he was being educated and was a scholar. One day he decided to build a school and teach yound wizards and witches.
No one knew the location of this school and buzz went around the magical comunity as everyone heard of a boarding school of wonders that was of same power and might as the eleged Hogwarts. And strangely enough no one ever did discover where it was. Though many students go to this school the only way to get there was through a portal in an alleyway in magical London. Once he had the books and teachers to start the school he realized that he had not made different houses to keep the students apart but still close. After many days and nights of debate with his closest friend he realized the perfect names.
He was inspired by four of the greatest people of his time and named the houses after them. The first house would be named after Agatha Bindweed. She was not known but a close friend of Oranon. Though not known she was special. She was a skilled seer and for that he named a house after her. Those who excelled in magical education that need no wands. Agatha was quite a rude woman but Oranon still stayed friends with her and she was happy to represent the house. Oranon chose the crystal ball as an emblem.
The next house he decided on was Scaro. He named it after Griselda Scaro a renowned Auror, Ministry Highachry Member and close friend of Oranon. This house was for those who were keen magic users and reverted to there wands before logic.
This thought of logic brings us to the next house, Zelbourne. It was named after Xalor Zelbourne, writer, poet and philosipher. He was known more for being sleepy and when drowsy he would mutter his secrets for all to hear. Those in Zelbourne enjoy the more mentaly challenging subjects.
The last house was named after Ethel Haynesworth. She was a Creature Keeper and always kept a small bird in her jacket pocket and would feed it regulary. People acussed her of being mad but she paid no attention. She had no real home and that is why the members of Haynesworth house enjoy the outdoors.
