Name: Judas "Jude" Wilkerson
Age: 17
Power: Light Manipulation
Personality: Jude is a quite keep to himself type. He has never been outgoing enough to make many friends. He stays absorbed in his work while at school and only feels comfortable enough to be himself when in the privacy of his own home.
History: Judas's mother would always tell him the story of his birth right before she tucked him in fr the night. Judas would ask just like clock work as his mother flicked off the light in his room,
"Mommy?"
"Yes?"
"What makes me your special little man?"
And she would always reply,
"The night you were born all of the lights in Houston shut off, not ten seconds after you were born, and I knew then you were my special little gift from God. Now you get some sleep.
"I will mommy, g'night"
"Night baby."
What young Judas didn't know is that during his mother's pregnancy there had been complications that could only be described as abnormal. Throughout the pregnancy his mother suffered from small nuero-electric shocks directly to her spinal cord. The doctors were positive that either the child or mother would need immediate medical attention shortly after birth. When the blackout occurred the doctors were sure that hope was lost for the newborn and his mother. Miraculously they both made full recoveries.
Sixteen years later Judas, now a Junior at Union Wells High School, has been experiencing some unexplainable phenomena. On top of being friendless, loveless, in the height of puberty Judas has come to believe he is being haunted. He can't get any sleep for his lights flickering on and off. Judas is at the point of insomnia. He lies in his bed every night trying to ignore the lights but it seem the harder he tries to ignore them the brighter they become, as if they are trying to tell them something. He dares not tell anyone that he thinks he's being haunted because every one has the preconceived notion that he is mentally insane with out his story of lights and ghosts. After two weeks of the onslaught of lights he finally snapped he stood on his queen sized bed and yelled, "STOP!"
Thrusting his hands out in front of him as he did so. Suddenly the lights stopped. Then they reappeared ... in the palm of his hand.
The next morning Judas shook this off as a dream. He also shakes of the fact that everytime he walks into a room the lights flicker, even if only for a second. Maybe every one is right about his sanity, but who could know for sure.
This is Judas Wilkerson's life thus far.
Appearance/Celeb: Alex Pettyfer
Gender: Male
Roleplay sample: (From a Short Story I wrote) Morgan Lacey walked into the briefing room. It was located in an underground bunker somewhere in Germany. Morgan was positive they were near Berlin, but he wasn’t permitted to know their exact location. He had gotten off of the plane at a small private airport, and then loaded onto a Voltzwagon shuttle bus with about forty other scientists and professors from around the world. Everyone on the bus went through an extensive search by the bulky security personel. Morgan was stripped of his phone and car keys. One of the larger guards blindfolded Morgan and led him to his seat. He was being paid good money to be the Theological Advisor to a group of men working on what he was told to be the most important scientific endeavor of our time. Morgan felt the bus stop. A voice addressed the group and instructed them all to remove their blindfolds. Morgan looked out of the tiny window, the building he saw looked less like a research facility and more like a prison. Tall dark gray walls surrounded the complex; the view was commanded by a tall rusty iron gate that looked anything but welcoming. The group was escorted through the gate and into the main building, down some stairs and into a windowless room, foldout chairs awaiting them. Small index cards with each of there names and positions were placed on the chairs. Morgan found his chair and took a seat as the briefing began.
A tall elderly Oliver North type military officer stood to address them all. He spoke, in a heavy German accent;
“Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here to discuss what is about to make all of you very wealthy and very well known, but before we delve into that, do any of you have a problem with cutting yourself off from the world for an extended period of time?” Morgan looked around. No one had any objections. He didn’t figure they would, not with the heavy paycheck that he, and all of the others would be receiving.
“Good.”, said the man who had yet to introduce himself, and didn’t seem as though he planned on it, “So the forty-five of you have been assembled to work on a project that could change the entire world, we chose you because you are each the best in your field. You will be charged with the task of proving or disproving the existence of God. An eruption of murmurs filled the room.
“Quiet!!!” yelled the man at the podium.
“If you have a problem with it you can leave, but I swear to you, you’ll be dead before you leave the building. You now know too much to go back into normal society. Now, we have received funding for three years of research from independent benefactors. You have this whole facility to work with, this complex is filled with the most up-to-date technologies you could need. There is no other place in the world quite like it. We will need an answer with in that three year time frame, as we do not expect much more funding, If have a need for anything that this facility doesn’t already possess let us know and it will be provided. Meeting adjourned. Please exit to the doors on either side of the room; your quarters are located there.”
Morgan was getting ready to leave when someone three seats down from him said, “Don’t we get a few questions?” in an almost robotic voice. The man who had just briefed them turned and said,
“No Mr. Hawking.” They all exited to their quarters.
